Special Interest Days

There are normally two Special Interest Days held each year in spring and autumn. The purpose of the day is to explore a subject in more depth than is possible in the one hour monthly lecture. With a small number of attendees and more intimate surroundings there is a more informal approach to the subject and the chance to discuss the topic with the lecturer.

The day usually starts at 10am with the first lecture. There is then a coffee/tea and biscuit break followed by the second lecture.  At about 1.00 a light lunch (included in the price) is served.  The day ends at about 3.00 after the third lecture.

All Special Interest Days are held in the Dinant Room at the Spotlight Theatre.

Special Interest Days are normally £25.

Booking usually starts two months prior to the event at the Thursday lecture. Bookings will be taken from 9.30 am. Please note that full payment needs to be made in person on a booking day to secure a place on a Special Interest Day. Currently a cheque payable to EDFAS or cash will be accepted, but unfortunately we cannot accept credit cards.
